We take most cases (werewolves, imps, and pixies excepted, obviously), so when a posh woman with ready cash sends us after a book, we go.

We shouldn’t have. Because the book’s just the beginning. Now we’re whiskers-deep in the undead, maritime mishaps, and sodding werewolves. Plus unicorns. Ugh.

Also, the world might be ending. Not sure even my nine lives are enough for this one ...

The Gobbelino books are standalone-ish, until the last book. Then if you haven't read the others you're going to have a lot of questions, mostly about Green Snakes, custard and dentists.
