“Psst. You looking for a computer?” His voice was pitched low, a secretive mumble despite the fact they were alone on the steps.

“Why?”

He inclined his head toward the side of the building, where an alley dived between it and the tall old fence of the nearby park. “Come on. Somewhere more private.”
