Don sliced into the cake, revealing a pale, sticky centre. “Underbaked,” he declared. “Don’t eat that one, Beryl. It’ll bite back.”

Jade just has to make it through to the final, then she'll be safe. She wants to win, of course, but the final will be enough. The last three will be safe. She just has to stay in the game until then. And that's not going to be easy. The competition's fierce, and it has teeth.
